The Sixteenth Annual Seymour Martin Lipset Lecture on Democracy in the World will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019, at the Embassy of Canada in Washington, DC. It will be delivered by Alina Mungiu-Pippidi, Professor of Democracy Studies at the Hertie School of Governance, on the topic of “The Rise and Fall of ‘Good Governance’ Promotion.”
