HUMAN IMPACT ON LIFE BELOW THE ARCTIC OCEAN AND CLIMATE CHANGE

Join the Consulate General of Canada in San Francisco and the UN Association of San Francisco on September 30 for an eye-opening program on climate change and the human impact of life in the Arctic.

Keynote by SYVIA EARLE: PH.D., is a pioneering ocean scientist, explorer, author, speaker and conservation leader, a National Geographic Society Explorer since 1998, former Chief Scientist of NOAA, Founder of Mission Blue, a non-profit organization that fosters exploration, research and conservation of a global network of Hope Spots, founder of Deep Ocean Exploration and Research, Co-founder of Deep Hope, a founding Ocean Elder, a founding IUCN Patron of Nature, Council Chair for the Harte Research Institute, and leader of the Sustainable Seas Expeditions.
